How I Recycled My iPhone Through Cash for iPhones

I’m a self-confessed geek and a member of the school’s Tree Huggers Club.

Since I was 10, my father taught me how to conserve, reuse and recycle things. We actually have a compost pit in our backyard where my mom puts all the leftover food and biodegradable trash at the end of the day. We shovel some dirt in it every day too and when the compost hole is full, we fill it with more dirt and let it decompose for quite a while and then plant a tree in it. We made a tree house out of scrap woods and my brother and I call it our special spot.

So it’s not very surprising that someone like me would want to recycle old stuff like my old iPhone. My father bought me an iPhone 2G when I topped my SATs. Unfortunately, it got wet while we were swimming one day and I tried to open it but it didn’t work. I tried going to the Apple store to have it checked but they said it was a basket case. The Apple experts said that opening your iPhone after getting it wet would break the circuits and electrical stuff inside which is why it didn’t work anymore.

So since my iPhone wasn’t working, I decided to either recycle or sell my iPhone. The problem was that no one wanted to buy a broken down and waterlogged iPhone. Apple has a buyback program and they offer GCs for my iPhone that I could use at the iTunes or the App Store but I already had an Android smartphone and getting an iTunes GC would be pointless for me.

Instead of pushing my luck on eBay or Craigslist, I decided that the best way to get rid of it was to sell iPhone through recycling companies. But recycling companies are quite rare in our area and I was a bit hesitant to do recycling online. But then I found this Cash for iPhone review and I got hooked so bad that I instantly wanted to try out their services.

The great thing about Cash for iPhones is that their services are totally free. They don’t charge a dime for your iPhone and they’ll even give you cash for an iPhone that got wet! They also buy broken iPhones. A friend of mine also decided to sell iPhone at Cash for iPhones and hers was a mess of glass shards. But she still got about twenty bucks for it!

How it works!

Another good thing about this website is that their procedure is totally easy to do. They give you three easy steps for the online transaction and also offer a free box and shipping label for your iPhone. Though there were some questions in my mind back then like “Is Cash for iPhones legit?" I was able to get over my fear and finally ship my iPhone to them and get fifty bucks from it! That’s quite a lot of money for a very, very old iPhone model that got wet!

Is Cash for iPhones Legit?

The internet, to me is a very, very vast jungle with lots of different animals. You may enjoy being in it but you’d have to know a lot of survival skills to be able to live peacefully in it. And while the internet has changed how businesses work all over the world, it can never guarantee a smooth sailing deal especially when you’re not sure who you’re dealing with. What makes customers more susceptible is that the internet lacks the physical factors of selling, making it harder to know if the person or company you’re talking with are real people or not.

This has always been my mindset when doing important business-oriented things over the internet. I own a small shop on eBay that sells brand new and second hand smartphones to people online and I try to maintain an online reputation that’s as clean as my spoon after eating dessert. In the same way that I maintain my online reputation to be as credible as possible, I also make sure that I only deal with people over the internet that have good reputations, which is why I chose Cash for iPhones. I wrote this Cash for iPhones review not because they paid me to do so, but because they paid me handsomely for what I sold them and always make a point to do so whenever I make a deal with them. An online business person knows how hard it is to work for a clean reputation and so I’m helping them out by writing this review.

Basically, my business entails buying new or slightly new units from my clients at a cheaper price and selling them online at retail price. I also sell iPhone and iPhone accessories through my eBay store.  Normally, the iPhones and other smartphones I get are locked to a certain mobile carrier or have some sort of repairable damage. Before selling it off through my eBay store, I have it repaired and prepped to make it work like a brand new smartphone (if it has been damaged or used for a while) and resell it. But business isn’t always as smooth as it should be. Sometimes I get iPhones that are really far beyond repair and I can’t really sell them so they all end up in a box in my office. And then I discovered that I can sell iPhone units at Cashforiphones.com and my business became more profitable than ever before.

I sell about 5 to 6 iPhones per transaction and each iPhone is definitely useless. Some have cracked up screens which would cost more than what I’m willing to pay for while some are waterlogged and don’t even power up anymore. I get at least 50 to 70 bucks a piece and each transaction would net me 200 to 300 bucks which is way more than what I’d get if I sold those iPhones to junk shops and recycling companies out there. Here’s what I say to those who ask the question, “Is Cash for iPhones legit?”

Yes, it definitely is! And that’s my experience talking!

Cashforiphones from A Seller's Perspective

I am a self-proclaimed tech geek and I can say that I am almost online all the time. Being online is part of my life. I always make sure I am updated on the latest trends, the latest gadgets and stuff.

I'll buy the latest gadgets then what's next? My problem now is what to do with the old ones and most of them have damaged screens and doesn't have batteries. I don't want to leave them somewhere else and let them be eaten by dust and be put to waste.

So me being almost online everyday use this for my gain. I searched for ways to help me dispose my old electronics. The first option that I consider to sell old electronics is at eBay. I can sell my electronics internationally but it takes time before I get earn a profit as the market of many products on eBay especially electronics is saturated, resulting in high competition. If there are many other sellers of these items, I may be forced to lower my price just to get it sold.

Then I stumbled on Cashforiphones.com. I researched about their company and I can say they are an established brand in selling and buying items. I found out that Cashforiphones is a part of the Cashforlaptops family where I already sold my old laptop to and it was worth it. I've done my research and found good testimonials about them so I made my choice -- Cashforiphones is the way to go.

I visited their site to get a quote for my broken phone. When I am happy with the quote, I approved it and then they redirected me to instructions on how to send the phone in. The payment will be made once the phone has been received and processed. Honestly it took me more or less 30 seconds to finish my transaction and that is way faster than selling it on eBay!

From there on, I became loyal to Cashforiphones when it comes to selling old iphone. I can attest that they stand for their claims for providing excellent service, fast and easy cash. Try it for yourself and share your experience with Cashforiphones by commenting below.
