I am a self-proclaimed tech geek and I can say that I am almost online all the time. Being online is part of my life. I always make sure I am updated on the latest trends, the latest gadgets and stuff.
I'll buy the latest gadgets then what's next? My problem now is what to do with the old ones and most of them have damaged screens and doesn't have batteries. I don't want to leave them somewhere else and let them be eaten by dust and be put to waste.
So me being almost online everyday use this for my gain. I searched for ways to help me dispose my old electronics. The first option that I consider to sell old electronics is at eBay. I can sell my electronics internationally but it takes time before I get earn a profit as the market of many products on eBay especially electronics is saturated, resulting in high competition. If there are many other sellers of these items, I may be forced to lower my price just to get it sold.
Then I stumbled on Cashforiphones.com. I researched about their company and I can say they are an established brand in selling and buying items. I found out that Cashforiphones is a part of the Cashforlaptops family where I already sold my old laptop to and it was worth it. I've done my research and found good testimonials about them so I made my choice -- Cashforiphones is the way to go.
I visited their site to get a quote for my broken phone. When I am happy with the quote, I approved it and then they redirected me to instructions on how to send the phone in. The payment will be made once the phone has been received and processed. Honestly it took me more or less 30 seconds to finish my transaction and that is way faster than selling it on eBay!

ReplyDeleteI was recently quoted $175 for my used iPhone 4 from cashforiphones.com (aka cashforlaptops.com) which was more than the other three or four quotes I found online. I mailed it using their prepaid postage but according to their tracker they didn't receive and process it until almost three weeks after I mailed it. Then when I called to settle the payment they said its condition was only worth $60! I told the rep to send it back because that was ridiculous and the phone was used, of course, but it was in good condition. There weren't any scratches and the only sign of use was some of the finish was rubbing off around the power and volume buttons. The cheapest quote I received from any other website was $115 at the time so I told him I wouldn't take any less than $100 and they have agreed to pay that (although I haven't seen the payment yet). It's not worth my trouble to have it returned (and probably have damage from them) and sell it to another website for $10-$20 more. This was the first and last time I sell anything to this company. I would rather get an honest quote for a lower amount than go through all the trouble and weeks of waiting to be ripped off by these crooks. I was honest when I told them the condition of the phone (not perfect but in good condition and shows minor signs of use) and they gave me a B.S. quote. then they take so long to process it and try to make you wait forever on hold when you call so that you are so fed up that you will just give in and take their low-ball offer. What a scam!
